Features to know about

Built for Jeeps, Broncos, Trucks, and Trailers

power mountain in use

With a 6-ton rating, this jack is made for off-road rigs like Jeeps, Broncos, and lifted trucks. Its adjustable range from 8-1/2" to 37-3/4" means it'll slide under an axle when you've got a flat and still reach the frame when you need extra height. The included extensions attach to add extra clearance, so you don't have to carry around blocks and stack them to get the jack where it needs to be.

Stable and Secure on Rough Ground

power mountain jacked up

When you're off-roading, a breakdown can happen anywhere. But when the trail or shoulder isn't level, the oversized base plate helps the jack stay planted and secure. You can use the swappable saddles to lift from the axle or the frame, depending on what's safest. And if you want additional stability, a jack pad (like the Outrigger Pad or StakPad) can add another layer of support. The handle extension gives you reach when the space is tight, which helps when you're struggling to work the release.

Keep All the Pieces Together

power mountain carry bag

When the job's done, all the parts pack into the carry bag. It doesn't take up much room, plus you're not digging through a toolbox to find what you need. You can take it with you on every trip and know you're prepared for flats and other repairs.

This jack is high quality and will be perfect raising my fifth wheel camping trailer for tire changes and wheel maintenance. I am very happy with my ordering experience from eTrailer!

by:

This is an awesome jack. I bought this to use mainly for jacking up my trailer if I have a flat on the road. The jack is well made with several different lengths of extentions to use at just about any height I will ever need. This could avoid calling roadside service if you get a flat. It came with a nice bag to carry everything in it. Be aware of the added weight that will be added to the load carried. well worth the cost for peace of mind. The large base the bottle jack sits on keeps the jack stable. The kit in the bag does not take up much space either.

by:

I bought it to lift the frame on my rv trailer. Already used to help my grandson install a new differential in his car. So happy I bought it because it gives me so many options with the extensions that I can lift almost anything that I have that would require a lift.

by:

Exactly what I've been looking for! I have a lifted Tundra, very tall NO Boundries Campig trailer, and a Polaris Side by side. All require a higher type jack and this fits the bill. I am also extremely happy with the heavy duty carrying bag. You cannot find a better flexible jack at this very fair price. Such a perfect package and price I also bought one for my son who has a similar trailer and and a taller Tundra. Great service and FAST free shipping from e-trailer. Thank you e-trailer!

by:

Before using I read the simple manual. The 1st thing it says is remove the oil fill plug and pump handle 8 times to bleed out the air. Then the manual says oil should be to the bottom of the oil fill hole. I can't see any oil so I tip the jack on its side and no oil comes out. I'm going to call Tall Boy today and see how they handle this issue!? Etrailer's shipping was fast!

by:

Wow, beats my expectations! The tallboy 6ton jack. Great quality. Great for someone with a weaker/tender back(using only one hand and not much effort). My low profile floor jack is SO hard to lift one wheel on our trailer. Plus shipping was a day early! Yay!!
Highly recommend for camper trailers (&5th wheels).

by:

I was impressed with the quality of the build of this product and accessories. It was very well packaged. Nothing is cheap or cheesy about this jack! The base plate is stout and secure. I have the 6 ton Jack. Easy to assemble and all fits nicely into the Stout carry bag. It offers a user many options from different jacking points using accessories to different heights. I have not used it other than to familiarize myself with the operation, but everything worked as advertised and had good fit and finish. I am so very pleased thusfar!

by:

TOP NOTCH PRODUCT. EXACTLY WHAT I NEED FOR MY FIFTH WHEEL AND F350. NO MORE FLAT TIRES WORRIES.

by:

I purchased this bottle jack from E-Trailer for my camper. I have not tried it and hope I don't have to ever use it. I have had many bottle jacks before, but none like this one. The jack's large base makes it safer to use than other, the attachments make it more versatile. I really like the carrying case. I would easily recommend this jack and will definitely continue being an E Trailer customer. Thanks

by:

Worked exactly like advertised. I was able to easily lift my 32 foot travel trailer by the frame to change tires and grease the bearings. With newer travel trailers set higher off the ground a normal bottle jack or floor jack did not have the height required without excessive blocking. This jack will stay in my truck for roadside changes if needed and will have many uses with my truck and trailers.

by:

Great kit. Just what I needed for my camper, my tractor and everything else around here. Packed in a nice kit with storage bag. Well worth the price. All extensions are solid and the wide base works well on dirt or gravel.

by:

The jack arrived quickly and was exactly as described. I have not yet had an opportunity to use it though. I bought this to use on a 15k lb 5th wheel travel trailer and my trucks.

by:

Seems to be reasonably well made and easy to assemble. It's nice to have one jack for multiple purposes. Worked great on 3500 lb. rv axles. May have to use blocks under tire for clearance when tire is totally flat. Small footprint when not in use. Storage bag seems adequate but only time will tell. Etrailer CS was great and super fast shipping. Not my first purchase from etrailer and won't be the last....

by:

I had seen this recommended by one of my favorite RV YouTube channels and it fit the bill of wanting a "better" jack to keep in my truck for tire changes and the like. As luck would have it (not sure if good luck or bad), my camper's tongue jack slipped off of its parking blocks and the foot sunk about 3-4" into the mud, and suddenly I had an excuse to order one of these. Once it arrived, it made quick work of lifting my tongue jack out of the mud letting me get wood blocks back underneath it. Everything in the kit feels solid and well made. I look forward to keeping this on hand so that my truck's factory provided jack can be more of a last resort.

The instruction booklet is a bit lacking, but I think my only real critiscim is a couple design choices given this is marketed for "off-road" use. The first being I wish the base plate had even the slightest bit of texture or tread to give it a little better footing on uneven terrain, and I wish they had chosen a slightly more distinctive color than aircraft carrier gray; I could see myself pulling out parts on a trail or unpaved area and misplacing one before I recollect it all.

by:

The jack itself is heavy duty and made well and we have not gotten to use it yet. I gave it a 3 because it is missing one of the wire pins (part #1) so we can not use it until we find one. I sure it will receive a higher rating after that.

I'll get that replaced for you, Mark!

by:

Delivered quickly. I like that it comes in a travel bag. We are new to camping and we are packing this in our travel trailer with the hope that we never have to use it, but if we need it...we will have it.
I watch several RV YouTube channels; Why Wait, RV Tips and Travels, RV Gear and Far, and Wines, Pines, and Canines, and they all have good things to say about etrailer.

by:

Worked perfectly lifting my Rockwood TT so I could change the tires. The top of the jack has a line/notch in it and that fit perfectly into the jacking point on my torsion axles. I do really like that it is all packaged together in the carrying bag. The only thing of question for me is, the whole release valve screw, is plastic. I understand why the threaded part would be, for sealing. However the T-handle section I feel should be metal. As this is where you slot the pump handle over and then tighten and losen the release valve. Not sure how long that plastic part will last.

by:

Have not actually deployed it yet, but the build quality seems great! One issue, the pump handle comes in two sections, that slip fit with a spring loaded ball. When open/closing the release valve, the ball does not keep 5he handle end from spinning. Other than that, it comes very well packaged in its own bag, with all accessories stored in two included foam storage trays with lids that are held closed with Velcro straps. Should go quietly down 5ne road when your not using it.

by:

Works great I needed a compact jack for offroad use and had to be high since my frame starts at 23”. The 6T goes plenty high enough and is very modular if I’m in a tough spot

Glad we had something that ticked all the boxes for you, Scott! What vehicle is that in your picture? I thought it was a Wrangler at first, but now I'm questioning that.

by:

I have not actually used this product as of this writing, however, it appears we'll built. It will have the lift height needed for my truck or 5th wheel trailer if needed. The attachments are a big plus to capture the jack to the axles. As with any hydraulic jack as long as the seals hold up it will be great. Carry bag is a nice piece to keep all the components of the jack together. Looks good, thanks etrailer.

by:

A bit pricey but I wanted to be able to adjust the brakes on my camper ($175 at the dealer, plus waiting til they could get to it) or grease the wheel bearings regularly.
Its too heavy to carry it with me in an already loaded tow vehicle so it's mostly for home use

by:

I'm only giving a 4-star review, because I haven't had the opportunity to use the jack yet, but just unpacking it, it seems to be very solid and well built. I bought it to keep in a recently acquired Jeep Gladiator with a 3" lift and 37" tires, so the factory scissor jack wouldn't do the trick. I played around with the jack after unpacking it, and it definitely looks like it will work great.
I have been a customer of etrailer for several years now, and the customer service has always been fantastic. The jack was delivered within 3 days of placing the order, and there were no issues.

by:

I love it!
I had a chance to become
familiar with it this afternoon, and actually use it under my F250. My truck’s tires are bigger and the chassis sits higher than normal. Because of my airbags I had to research the places where the Tallboy will work best in the event of getting a flat tire. It is so easy to set it up that I’ll give it a 5-Star rating.

Thanks for the awesome review Edgar! I really like how you tried it out before having an emergency situation, no one likes learning a new product while in a stressful situation. I hope you have a wonderful Holiday Season filled with your most favorite people =)

I've been looking for exactly this style jack, with broad base, extensions, and and adapters to fit different axles, etc for a few years. Everything comes pre-packaged with foam padding inside the carry bag, a nice feature. Delivery and service by e-trailer, including any needed customer service, is always excellent, I've purchased from them many times. They always have what's needed and help making sure items will fit.

Thank you so much for your thoughtful review! We're thrilled to hear that you finally found the jack you had been searching for and that the included extensions, adapters, and broad base met your needs :)

by:

The extra attachments and built in base are great to work on my dual axle boat trailer. Easily jacked up the trailer with 5000 lb boat without needing to use an additional base. Used 6T jack stands and was able to complete maintenance on all wheels with confidence. The carry bag is perfect to keep everything together. I will be keeping this in my truck with two jack stands everytime I trailer the boat from now on.

Hey George. The Power Mountain Tallboy Off-Road Bottle Jack item # PM34FR is only rated for 6-tons but it's not like you're raising up the entire motorhome. Most of the weight is going to be on the back though and since it is a dually, I recommend going up to the 12-ton rated Power Mountain item # PM94FR. Hello Joe, Thank you for reaching out! The Power Mountain Tallboy Off-Road Bottle Jack - 11-5/16" to 27-1/16" Lift - 12 Tons # PM94FR does have the capacity you’d need, but since your fifth wheel’s frame sits about 25" off the ground, it would only leave you with just over 2" of additional lift once the jack makes contact. In most cases, that’s not quite enough extra travel to fully lift the trailer and get the tire off the ground when lifting by the frame, especially considering suspension...
